IBIBIO COMMUNITY IN CROSS RIVER STATE CALL FOR UDOM RE – ELECTION

The president and south leader of Ibibio community in Cross River State, Dr. Joe Ekanem and Adaha Samuel Eyo have called on Akwa Ibomites in the State and diaspora to support the Governor Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel in his second term bid to return to the hilltop mansion in the 2019 gubernatorial elections.

The duo made the statement in an interview with a news correspondent as they envied plans to celebrate Ibibio day 2018.

They cited Governor Udom’s rural transformation agenda and even spread of infrastructural development in all the thirty -one local government councils of the state as reason for their stand to galvanize support for the Udom Administration to prosecute his complete campaign promises on his divine mandate.

In another development the Ibibio Community has congratulated an Elder statement, former governor of Akwa Ibom State Obong Architect Obong Victor Attah as he celebrates his eightieth (80) birthday anniversary and thanked God for sparing the life of  resource control icon which has made people of Niger Delta to enjoy the thirteen percent oil revenue derivation which has helped in the unprecedented development of the region, and wish pre fruitful years and service to Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria.
