IMO PDP crisis deepens as stakeholders reject Atiku-Okowa Council list

Hundreds of PDP faithful in Imo state southeast Nigeria have come out to reject the proposed presidential council list for the Atiku-Okowa campaign which they said was wrongly constituted.

Leaders of the party expressed dissatisfaction over what they describe as a fake presidential campaign list.

They said the purported name on the list reeled out by the secretary of the party Mr Ray Emeana at the prompting of Emeka Ihedioha is simply a product of selfishness.

Also speaking, a gubernatorial aspirant of the party who is also serving as a member of the Atiku and Okowa campaign council Evangelist Mike Ikoku said, the action is capable of jeopardizing the party in the state.

When called on the phone to react to the development, the media aide to Emeka Ihedioha promised to call back but never did until the time of the broadcast.
