Indian Naval Warship, I.N.S. Tarkash partners Nigerian Navy against sea piracy

The Commanding Officer INS Tarkash, Captain Abraham Samuel, HAS COMMENDED the Nigerian Navy, for its role in reducing piracy in the Gulf of Guinea (GoG) region.

The COMMANDER made this commendation when the INDIAN NAVAL WARSHIP, INS TARKASH PAID A COURTESY VISIT TO Lagos to strengthen its bilateral relations with its Nigerian counterpart.

At the courtesy visit to the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Western Naval Command (WNC), Rear Admiral Yakubu Wambai, at the Command’s Headquarters Office in Apapa, Lagos, he said the visit strengthened bilateral ties between the two nations as they continue to fight piracy in both Nigerian waters and Golf of Guinea.
