Itsekiris Threaten Chevron Shutdown
Trouble is brewing in Delta State where youths of the Itsekiri ethnic nationality have asked Chevron Nigeria Limited to recognise only their four communities in the Joint Investigation Visit to address the oil spill at the Abiteye Oil Field or risk a total shutdown of activities.
They made their intentions clear during a protest at the affected community in Warri southwest Council Area of the state.
