Jurist postulates tolerance, fear of God as panacea to enhancing matrimony
Christian Couples have been advised to imbibe the spirit of tolerance and the fear of God to enhance their marriage.
Hon. Justice & Mrs. Maurice Odey Eneji, retired President Customary Court of Appeal and former Acting Chief Judge of Cross River State gave the admonition at the 20th marriage anniversary and thanksgiving of Pastor Justice Ukpai Ibitham held at RCCG, Maranatha Cathedral, Calabar, Cross River State on Sunday May 4th 2025.
Hon. Justice Maurice O. Eneji who doubled as Chairman of the occasion thanked Pastor (Mrs.) Eunice Ibitham for her unwavering support and being a pillar of strength to her husband in the twenty year of the marriage and urged others and will-be couples to borrow a leaf from the joy and progress in their marriage.
Pastor Justice Ukpai Ibitham returned all adoration and glory to God for seeing the family through from 2005 when he first proposed to his wife in Port Harcourt, while residing and working in Lagos.
Commendation and goodwill messages were received from the Presbyterian Men, Women, Youth and Children arms of the church which climaxed in the cutting of the cake and presentation of gifts to the celebrants.
