Knowing who you are in Christ_Pastor Ekaji
The Resident Minister of FAMILY WORSHIP CENTRE, Gomays Plaza, Atekong Drive, Calabar, Pastor Peter Oko Ekaji has admonished Christians to strive to know who they are in Christ.
Pastor Ekaji stated this in a sermon he preached on Sunday, May 8, 2022, titled “ YOUR NEW IDENTITY” referencing 2nd Corinth 5:17 “ Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature, old things have passed away; behold all things become new”.
He posited that identity is a character that distinguishes an individual from another like a name or title adopted by a person. He said not knowing who you are in Jesus Christ is a misnomer that empowers the devil to chase and attack them instead of them chasing and destroying the works of the enemy whose stock in trade is to steal and to kill and to destroy according to what is written in John 10:10. He admonished believers in Christ to renew their minds and imbibe Christ into their lives in order to enjoy the grace of God to overcome worldly challenges.
The Family Worship Centre is a global ministry that impacts the lives of people to restore them back to their predestined status in Christ. The outreach is based in Abuja with Pastor Sarah Omakwu as Senior Pastor and international Co-ordinator.
