The remains of the late founder and presiding prelate of Intercessors Bible Mission, Archbishop Archibong Esemin Archibong have been buried in his country home at IBM International Headquarters along calabar-calabar roundabout adjacent to Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital Calabar in Cross River State.
The ceremony which climaxes the weeklong event on Friday, May 6, 2022, was attended by national and international ministers of the gospel and executives of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) where the deceased was a former State Chairman.
In a funeral oration, the state CAN chairman, Rev. (Dr.) Takis Etim Caifas described the departed as a God’s General and great soldier of the Cross whose legacies would forever remain in the sands of time.
Fielding questions from a LENS Reporter the wife of the deceased and Vice-President IBM, Bishop (Mrs.) Ofunmbuk Archibong thanked God for the grace given to her beloved mentor and family patriarch who attained the Biblical live span of three scores and ten plus to pass on 1st April 2022 at age 72 being born in 1950.
In his remark, the son of the late Archbishop Archibong, Pastor Antai Archibong said the vacuum created by the demise of his father will be hard to fill and ask God Almighty for the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The message of condolences was read from many quarters including that of the Executive Governor of Cross River State Senator (Prof.) Ben Ayade, and member representing Bakassi/Akpabuyo/Calabar South Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Apostle Essien Ayi amongst others too numerous to mention.
