Liberty Gospel Church celebrate 30th anniversary in Calabar
World headquarters of Liberty Gospel Church behind Desam House, Calabar in Cross River State was a beehive of activities from August 22-28, 2022 when Lady Apostle Helen Ukpabio played host to dignitaries as she celebrated 30 years in ministry which began in 1992.
The Guest Minister, Bishop Anselem Madubuko in his sermon at the accession referenced 2nd Samuel 5:4 “David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years” declared that Liberty Gospel Church led by Lady Apostle Helen Ukpabio from this significant age of maturity will begin to reign even more in God’s word and power.
The Chairman of the occasion Senator Effiong Bob in his remark said he is happy and privileged in the company of his wife to identify with the celebrant and wished her many more years and success in the Lord’s vineyard.
The Chief Host of the ceremony and husband of Lady Apostle Helen Ukpabio Dr. E. Elijah Ukpabio said attaining the feat was not easy and expressed the hope that the next phase of the journey in the ministry will be greater.
The function featured the presentation of two titles, waves of misfortune and cure and the concept of restitution which was reviewed by Dr. Bassey Anam.
Among notable dignitaries who graced the event was the former minister of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Pastor Usani Usani, Archibishop Elijah Mboho, Apostle Etim Ekpat, and Paramount Ruler of Calabar South, Prof. Itam Hogan among others.
The event was round off with the presentation of newly selected Chief Elders, Elder, Deacons, Deaconess, Conference for men, women, youths, children, tribal march past, football competitions, musical concerts, and goodwill messages.
