May 29 Handover/Takeover: Schedule of events for inauguration; Ayade to commission flyover, superhighway, others
As the handing over and inauguration of the Governor-elect of Cross River, Sen. Bassey Otu nears, the incumbent Governor, Ben Ayade is set to embark on a commissioning spree of some signature projects before May 29th, 2023.
According to the schedule of events leading to the inauguration made available by the Information and Orientation commissioner in the State, Eric Anderson, the Governor will on Thursday 25 May commission the Feedmill at 12 noon, Calachika factory at 2 pm and the Poultry Farm by 4 pm.
Others lined up for commissionin are the Calabar/Odukpani/Tinapa Dual Carriage at 12 noon, the Phase 1 Super Highway at 2 pm, and the flyover (Spaghetti Bridge) by 4 pm.
