Ministers to hold prayer confab for peaceful electioneering campaigns

As the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) mandate for political parties contesting in the 2023 general elections to commence on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, clerics under the aegis of Ministers Prayer Network (MPN) Cross River State chapter is conducting her 2022 prayer quake with the “Theme; “WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED” to seek his face and guidance during the event.

The Cross River State Coordinator and PRO of the network, Rev. (Dr.) Donatus John on Wednesday disclosed this to LENS Reporter at the venue of the conference at Transformation Gospel Centre, 110 Marian Road, Calabar, Cross River State..

Dr. John said since there is misgiving in the political process by political parties over the Muslim-Muslim ticket and hype among the youths over the euphoria of some presidential candidates and the threat to shut down the country by the National Association of Nigerian Students- NANS due to the prolonged ASUU strike. Prayer is needed for God’s intervention to avoid a state of anarchy in the country that would truncate our nascent democracy.

Gospel ministers to grace the occasion would include Rev. (Prof.) and Dr. (Mrs.) Mosy Madugba, International coordinator, Apostle Jonathan Gabriel, National Coordinator, Rev (Arc.) Innocent Icha, Pastor Kenneth Ademibo, Evangelist Affiong Ekong, Pastor Jonah Orji, and Rev. Ambassador Theodore Effiong of Prayer City, Calabar.

The three days programme will round off on Friday, September 30, 2022.
