A new bakery debuts in Calabar

A new bakery has opened in Calabar, the Cross River State capital on Monday.

Briefing newsmen at the ceremony held at the MCC road factory of the bakery, Mr. Ezekiel Dennis, spokesman for AMADIS disclosed that Amadis bread will use quality ingredients and is not out to compete with any other brand but to provide choice bread for households with a durable shelf life of up to five days.

In addition, after explaining that Amadis is a Spanish word for God is love, said that whereas other bakeries in Calabar may not be in a position to deliver quality products in line with global best practices, Amadis Bakery is poised to provide bromide free bread.
