Nigerians urged to think outside the box to overcome prevailing economic hardship
As millions of Nigerians continue to grapple with economic hardship due to fuel subsidy removal and harmonization of the Naira which has impacted negatively on livelihoods of Nigerians in the country, a resource person at launch of the Diamond Project at the reception hall of Calabar Municipality on Sunday November, 24th 2024, sought to assist individuals navigate hardship by offering mentorship, training, capacity building and building financial leverage systems that is capable of transforming people economically.
Mr. Joshua Yakubu, an accounting graduate of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, an indigene of Kaduna State said that Nigerians should leave the comfort zone of depending on government to provide palliatives for them but should rather think outside the box and embrace entrepreneurship which according to him is a path to gaining financial freedom.
He used the occasion to appeal to the teaming youths in the country as well as some employed folks who are not satisfied with their earnings to join the Diamond Project which has changed the fortunes of people around the world.
The project which aims at recruiting pioneer members in Cross River State was attended by persons in Calabar and surrounding communities like Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Odukpani council areas areas.
