NUJ joins high-profile guests to celebrate divine manifestation of Olumba Olumba Obu in Calabar
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Cross River State Council on Thursday joined over 5,000 worshippers to celebrate the Divine Manifestation of His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu in Calabar.
Led by the Chairman, Comrade Archibong Bassey, the NUJ delegation joined traditional rulers, industry leaders, clergy, Nollywood figures, and members of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to honor the Holy Father, who is the patron of the Union, on the occasion of his birthday.
The celebration featured financial empowerment as the First Royal Microfinance Bank issued grants to hundreds of faithful and unveiled twelve new Ambassadors to promote its mission.
In His message, His Holiness declared: “We thank God for revealing to you the sovereignty of My Divine Incarnation. I grant each soul the opportunity to know the fullness of this mystery.”
He added that all who have dedicated their lives to the service of the Kingdom, their sacrifices will be honored, their strength renewed, and their paths made prosperous.
Leader Obu extended blessings to world leaders, the suffering, and all dedicated servants of the Kingdom, assuring them that their sacrifices have been divinely rewarded. He also commended the Organizing Committee and expressed gratitude to all guests and participants.
In her goodwill message, the NUJ Chairman, Comrade Archibong Bassey, lauded Leader Olumba Olumba Obu for his dedication towards uplifting humanity, while also wishing him a happy birthday.
