NUT Chair Gets Twin Babies after 12 Years of Blissful Marriage

It was joy and celebration in the ancient city of Calabar last Sunday when the family of the Cross River State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Eyo-Nsa Eyo Itam dedicated their twin daughters after twelve years of blissful marriage.

Performing the dedication of the twin baby girls, Ekoi and Eyo-Nsa Anwa, the president of Mount Zion Light House Full Gospel Church Inc. Victory Assembly Calabar, Bishop Paul Augustine admonished couples who find themselves in similar situation to always have faith and believe in God for their own miracles.

He frowned at couples who divorce their spouses because of childlessness and advised them to continue to love, cherish, pray and leave the rest to God to answer their prayers at the appointed time.

The National Deputy President (NUT), comrade Nwankwo Kelvin commended the couples for staying together in love for 12 years after marriage in spite of their childlessness.

Speaking with our reporter, the National Secretary General, Dr. Mick Ike ene thanked God for giving Comrade and Pastor Mrs. Eyo-Nsa Itam double portion as reward for their steadfastness in the union.

The father of the new born girls described the day as one of the best days on earth, thanking God for not only answering their prayers but blessing them with double portion after 12 years of marriage.

Comrade Eyo-Nsa Eyo Itam advised married couples that are still looking upon God for children not to be dismayed but should continue to live harmoniously in love and pray for Gods intervention.

The event was graced by high profile guests particularly in the teaching profession. Among the attendees were the NUT Deputy National President, NUT National Secretary General, National Executive members, NUT State Chairmen and many others.
