Thanksgiving is our own lifestyle, we have come again to thank God just as we have been doing as a campaign organization. Your courage is what we need now than ever”, he said.

“The president might have good intentions but the implementation might bring difficulty on the people. As a result of it, we have not heard about kidnapping in the North and militancy in the south in the past months. Something good is coming and I believe that Nigeria will work, but it will start from Akwa Ibom”, he added.

He thanked the church for their consistent prayers and urged the members to pray for free, fair and credible elections as the nation prepares.

In his homily, the Parish Priest, Monsignor Michael Ekpe, called on all to be united in worship irrespective of race, ethnicity or culture. He warned against nurturing grudges against one another, since that does not reflect God’s attitude.

“May we be united as God wants. Unity is what God wants. Let us love, respect one another just like God loves and cares for us”, the cleric advised.
