‘OBIDIENTS’ shut Dela State down for Peter Obi
Supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, on Monday, shut down Asaba, the Delta State capital, at a rally in solidarity with his presidential ambition.
The enthusiastic supporters, comprising mostly youths, had staged road walks to galvanize more support for the Obi-Datti presidential ticket, bringing socio-economic activities to a halt for several hours.
The State coordinator of one of the groups, Kingsley Imoni-Ogbe of YES Peter Obi Support Group, said that the former Anambra State Governor was the only candidate among the contenders that could turn things around for good in the country.
