Parents of abducted university students protest in Gusau; Angry students block major Zamfara road over colleagues’ abduction
Parents of Abducted Students of Federal University Gusau in Zamfara state Staged a peaceful protest demanding the unconditional release of their children after 74 days in Captivity.
They converged at the main entrance gate of the Government House, in Gusau.
The protesters who came from different parts of the country says they will remain at the government house until their children are released.
Earlier, angry Students of the federal University Gusau, in Zamfara state on Saturday morning staged a peace protest and blocked the ever busy Gusau – Sokoto road.
This is coming barely twelve hours after five Student’s of the university were abducted by armed bandits Friday night in a community near the school.
About ten students of the federal University, Gusau were abducted in the last six months.
