Popular Calabar eatery reopens shop after shutting down for renovation

L&T Hot Plate, a popular restaurant in Calabar re-opened on Sunday, April 28, 2024 to customers after a temporary shut-down to effect renovation .

The business which is a subsidiary of L&T Events and Bridals is situated at Car Wash premises beside TATAFISH rendezvous opposite NAKS Hotels and Towers along Marian Road by Atekong Junction, Calabar.

And fielding questions from newsmen at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of the company Mrs. Ebeyin Ikpi Eyong applauded all her teaming customers who endured the renovation period and promised customers a better service delivery while appreciating them for their continuous patronage.

An array of dignitaries graced the occasion including the Association of Calabar Event Decorators, Miki Fitness Club Calabar, Barrister Ikpi Ubana Eyong, the State Legal Adviser of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Mrs. Agnes Atabi, Special Assistant Religious Matters (North) to Cross River State Governor, Senator Prince Bassey Otu and Association of Restaurant and Bar Owners.

Gospel Artiste, Tony Mike and the DJ Music Ensemble entertained guests at the event congregated by “lovers of good food” in Calabar, a.k.a Canaan City, the preferred tourism destination in Nigeria.
