President Tinubu reiterates commitment to national unity and equitable development; says “no region is left behind”
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a heartfelt message to the nation has reiterated his commitment to serving every Nigerian, regardless of region, ethnicity, or background.
In a statement released on his official ‘X’ handle, the President said his government’s infrastructure projects, including roads, railways, and power initiatives, are guided by his oath to serve all Nigerians.
He emphasized that the Renewed Hope Agenda is anchored on fairness, inclusiveness, and equal opportunity for all.
“I took an oath to serve all Nigerians—not a section. That oath guides every bridge, road, rail, power, and health project we deliver,” he declared.
He highlighted several key projects as evidence of this commitment, such as the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway. He also mentioned the Port Harcourt–Maiduguri rail line, the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano expressway, and the Trans-Saharan highway, referring to them as “national assets.”
Tinubu also noted the rehabilitation of health centers, light rail projects in various states, and the revival of the 255MW Kaduna Power Plant. He added that these initiatives are intended to improve the lives of all citizens, and he assured Nigerians that under his “Renewed Hope” agenda, no region or individual would be considered “second class.”
The President highlighted several ongoing projects including rehabilitation of health centres nationwide, Light rail systems in Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, and Ogun,250,000 new jobs being created, revival of Kaduna’s 255MW power plant, bridges in Onitsha and Bonny to reconnect communities
