Presidential Election Fallout: Obi defeats Bola Tinubu in Lagos, Plateau States
Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party win Lagos State with 582,454 votes.
Obi won the most votes in Lagos, traditionally a stronghold of Bola Tinubu.
The Director Strategic Communications of the Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, Chief Dele Momodu, says APC has been fatally wounded in Lagos by the Labour Party.
In addition, he said APC candidate Bola Tinubu’s chances of winning the presidential election has been hampered by Labour Party taking a large chunk of his votes in Lagos State.
Meanwhile, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi has won eight out of the ten Local Government Areas declared in Plateau State.
Obi won in Barkin Ladi, Riyom, Jos East, Langtang North, Bokkos, Mangu, Bassa and Jos South LGAs while the candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar won in two LGAs.
