Rev. Charles counsels Nigerians to return to God

The senior Pastor of Assemblies of God church, Big Qua Section, in Calabar, Rev. Ime Charles has called on Nigerians to return to God for a solution to the problems bedeviling the country.

The clergy made the statement while fielding questions from a LENS reporter in a 21 days prayer and fasting programme titled “NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE” according to Mathew 19:26.

He said that if indeed we can go back to God with a broken and contrite heart irrespective of religious belief, and forsake evil as writhen in 2nd Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and will heal their land”.

He added that corruption and graft is prevalent in government which is the reason for our suffering and called on Nigerians to turn a new leaf to experience the blessings of God in the new year.
