RevolutionNow: Campaigners Storm US Embassy; Wants Total Freedom of Omoyele Sowore

RevolutionNow campaigners on Monday stormed the United States embassy in Abuja with a petition calling for the total freedom of convener, Omoyele Sowore from a 7 count charge of fraud and felony levelled against him by the Federal government.

Some members of the group told journalists that the case against Sowore has dragged for too long thereby hindering his freedom.

The pressure group vowed to continue to push for actualization of their 5- points demands notwithstanding government’s deviant position on the convener.

It called on youths and well-meaning Nigerians to support it’s course as a lee-way to enthroning genuine democracy.

It would be recalled that about 50 days after Sowore was arrested, a 7 count charge was instituted against him which prompted his detention by DSS on August 3rd, 2019.
