The Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has struck out the suit filed by PDP seeking the court to direct the Independent National Electoral Commission to disqualify all the state house of Assembly candidates of Accord.
Presiding Judge, Justice Phoebe Ayua in her judgment struck out the suit for want of jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter.
Speaking to newsmen outside the courtroom, one of the counsels to Accord, Bashir Ahmed highlighted the grands at which the PDP suit was thrown away
On his part, the governorship candidate of Accord, Dumo Lulu-Briggs, who was present in court expressed happiness about the judgment.
Lulu-Briggs said it was wrong that PDP who are claiming to be a big party will be looking for a back door to select who to govern and represent Rivers people
