Rt. Hon. Apostle Essien Ayi talked about the significance of Christ Resurrection

Christians have been told to see the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour of the Universe, Jesus Christ as the nucleus of our faith.

A cleric and lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Apostle Essien Ekpenyong Ayi, representing Calabar South/Akpabuyo/Bakassi Federal Constituency gave the admonition in a sermon he preached at the close of a three day Easter convention themed “Significance of Resurrection”, Mathew 28:6. The event was held on Sunday at the Peniel Church of God, International Headquarters, 7 Odwyer Street, Calabar South, Cross River State.

And referencing Philippians 2:8-11, Ayi said is a confirmation of the awesomeness of the name of Jesus relative to other names. He urged believers to key into the name of Jesus for liberation, redemption, restoration, and salvation of their body, soul, and spirit.

He disclosed in an exclusive chat with LENS Reporter that he is contesting the 2023 general elections to return to the green chambers of the National Assembly to continue his grass root development programmes, human capacity empowerment, and infrastructural development of his constituency on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
