SDP State Assembly candidate promises new era of representation in Cross River

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Calabar Municipal Council State Constituency House of Assembly candidate in Cross River Mr. Francis Efanga Edet has promised a new era in representation if voted into office in 2023.

Mr. Edet who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FRANTEX Petroleum Ltd, an upstream oil and gas firm in Lagos specializing in seismic and geosciences hinges his campaign on a mantra – ACCORD 2023 meaning A-Action, C-Control, C-Communication, O-Organization, R-Rescue, and D-Deliver. He vowed to change the narrative in human and infrastructural empowerment while fielding questions from newsmen on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

The former Calabar Municipal Council Area chapter chairman of SDP berates some political party candidates who engage in vote buying saying perpetrators are incapable of winning elections and have nothing to offer the electorates if voted into office other than to loot public funds.

He is contesting against the incumbent member representing Calabar Municipal State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Efa Esua of the Peoples Democratic Party and Mr. Stanley Boyce Nsemo of the All Progressive Congress in the 2023 general elections.
