SENATE 2023: Akwa Ibom South group drums support for Inyang-Eyen

A group under the aegis Friends of Ephraim Inyang-Eyen, has thrown its weight behind the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate of Eket senatorial district, Mr. Ephraim Akparawa Inyang-Eyen.

The group which cuts across youth, women, elders, and other demographics said their decision was based on the conviction that Inyang-Eyen will offer the senatorial district better representation in the red chamber of the National Assembly in 2023.

According to them, the former Nigerian Customs czar is one of the rare selfless leaders with an admirable personality, courage, clear vision, and ambition to offer quality representation for the entire 12 Local Government Areas of Eket Senatorial District in the Senate.

In a statement jointly signed by its International President, Hon. Joshua Ndoho and Secretary General, Hon. Michael Ubokulo, made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Uyo assured people of the district that the YPP candidate remains the best for the zone.

According to the release, apart from his charitable deeds, Ephraim Inyang-Eyen, “possesses distinctive noble qualities—honor, total dedication, self-discipline, extreme selflessness, exemplary patriotism, sober judgment, and intellectual honesty.

“Ephraim has raised a huge amount of capital for market women to start a business. A good number of students are benefiting from his scholarship scheme. Men of God, Elders, Youths, and families across his Senatorial District are now owners of their own houses and cars to ease their movements.

“The YPP candidate has maintained a long list of elders, the majority of whom are pensioners who are deprived of their entitlements, offering them monthly upkeep allowances, while also employing many youths.

“We have all resolved to vote and protect the vote of Akparawa Ephraim Akparawa Inyang-Eyen because he is the choice of the masses,” the group stated.
