Senate adjourns plenary in honour of late Lawmaker
The Senate on Tuesday adjourned Plenary in honour of a Federal Lawmaker, Hon. Nse Bassey Ekpenyong who died on Monday.
The adjournment followed a motion moved by the Deputy Senate Majority Leader, Senator Ajayi Boroffice at the beginning of Tuesday’s session. Shortly after, Deputy Senate President, Senator, Ovie Omo-Agege announced the adjournment of plenary.
Until his death, Hon. Nse Bassey Ekpenyong was the lawmaker representing Oron Federal Constituency in Akwa Ibom State. The late member of the House of Representatives was said to have died in his sleep.
