Senator Jarigbe picks nomination form to return to Senate
Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, a member representing Cross River North Senatorial District in the National Assembly has picked a nomination and expression of interest form to seek re-election to the red chambers of the National Assembly in the 2023 general elections.
Senator Jarigbe who won the election to replace late Senator Rose Oko though on a bumpy road exacerbated by the protracted legal battle with Dr. Stephen Odey has promised to replicate his pedigree from the House of Representatives in the Senate.
The former House of Reps member representing Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency under the Peoples Democracy Party has promised to attract federal projects to the northern senatorial district, his geopolitical domain.
Speaking to a LENS Reporter at the Cross River State PDP Secretariat along Mary Slessor Avenue in Calabar, one of his ardent supporters, Prince Maurice Ekong Bassey who hails from the same locality as Jarigbe promised to mobilize the electorates to give the aspirant the needed support to scale nomination in the party primaries as well as the general elections which pundits predict would be explosive given the already encroachment by the APC as evidenced in their recent victory in Ogoja/Yala federal constituency.
