Socio-political group in Cross River to mobilize support for APC candidates
A socio-political organization, Intimate Alliance formed to mobilize voters for the All Progressive Congress candidates in the 2023 elections in Cross River State has an additional mandate to defend good governance.
The group has coordinators in the 18 Local Government Areas of the state with Mr. Gabriel Adah as Director-General from Obudu in the Northern Senatorial District, Engr. Fabian Abang from Boki in the Central Senatorial District as General Secretary and Mr. Stephen Mkpeje as a youth leader.
Others are the former Mayor of Calabar Municipal Council, Chief (Dr.) Maurice Iso from Southern Senatorial District as Treasurer while Mrs. Alice Offiong is the Woman leader. In addition, Mrs. Cecelia Ibiam is the Women Leader Northern Senatorial District and Mr. Ebe Idagwu is the Board of Trustee Chairman (BOT).
Speaking to LENS reporter on Friday, July 8, after the inauguration of the Association in the No I Diamond Hill secretariat in Calabar donated by the former APC governorship aspirant Obol Sulaiman Offiong who also presented keys of BMW SUV jeep to the body promising to leave no stone unturned at seeing to the victory of all candidates of the party from the State House of Assembly to National Assembly, Governorship and Presidential candidates in 2023 general elections.
Meanwhile, Offiong has collapsed his political structure with wards and chapters for Prince Bassey Otu with the aim according to him to sweep the polls in favour of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2023 elections.
