Special adviser to Governor Otu on local content recounts benefit of 13th Nigerian content forum
Ambassador Awatt Caleb Ekpeyoung Special Adviser to the Governor on the Local Content, Office of the Governor , Cross River State has expressed profound gratitude to Prince Bassey Otu, the Executive Governor of Cross River State for facilitating his attendance of the just concluded 13th practical Nigerian content forum held in Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) Headquarters, Yenegoa, Bayelsa State. The event held from 2nd December to 5th December 2024 with theme: “Defining the next frontier for Nigerian Content Implementation” drew participants and stakeholders to the annual forum on Nigerian content.
Ambassador Awatt while fielding questions from News Reporters on arrival from Yenegoa on Friday 6th December 2024 talked on the benefits of the local content act which has revealed opportunities in the entire industry value chain to showcase the Nigerian contents success and promised to forward a proposal to His Excellency Governor Bassey Otu to replicate the noble idea of organizing and hosting the first Cross River state Local Content Forum in February, 2025 to boost business relationships in Cross River.
The 13th practical Nigerian content forum, Yenegoa, Bayelsa State was graced by Senator. Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, Chairman Senate Committee on Local Content, Hon. Boma Goodhead, House of Representative Chairman of Local Content, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (OIL), Hon. Ekpeerikpe Ekpo, Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum (Gas), Mr. Mele Kolo Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) NNPC limited Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), captains of major oil and gas industry and other stakeholders.
