Usani Usani emerges PRP Governorship candidate

A former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs Ministry, Pastor Usani Uguru Usani has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) to contest the March 2023 general elections in Cross River State.

Also, Mr. Joseph Coco – Bassey is Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate while Mr. Amimmbemiso Bassey, a marine engineer has picked the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Party ticket in the primaries.

They emerged in affirmation primaries conducted over the weekend at the respective party secretariat in Calabar, Cross River State.

In their acceptance speeches, Pastor Usani and Engr. Bassey thanked the Party members for coming out to vote and affirmed them through voices votes. They pledged to work hard to ensure victory at the polls as it is now time for the youths to lead the polity in the State.
