Windstorm hit community in Cross River, families rendered homeless
Windstorm in Ofumbongha IV community, Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River has blown off roofs and rendered families homeless.
The storm which occurred a few days ago in the community has destroyed not less than 38 houses and dozens of families left homeless and seeking shelters elsewhere.
Meanwhile, a none non-governmental organization Basic Rights Council Initiative (BRCI) has called on the state government and the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation to come to the aid of victims.
