Yoruba community in Cross River counsel Adeleke over positioning Davido in his administration

Some Yoruba indigenes in Cross River State on Friday advised the Governor-Elect of Osun State Senator Ademola Adeleke to consider appointing Nigerian music star and his nephew Davido as Personal Assistant on sports and youth development to position him appropriately in his administration.

A spokesperson for the Adeleke Committee of Friends in Calabar, Mr. Deji Omolowo said in a chat with newsmen that if this is not done, Senator Adeleke will find it difficult to contain the maverick spirit in Davido who may use his position as a major stakeholder in the success of his uncle at the poll to stampede him with a catalog of intimate propositions that may weary him and impact his administration in a negative way.

He opined that without giving Davido a role with a more level-headed and mature administrator as Director General to check-mate his activities, the Adeleke administration may experience undue interference in governance.

Mr. Omolowo urged all Yoruba’s to continue to pray for a successful 2023 elections like what happened in Osun though frowned at the hiring of fake bishops to endorse a Muslim-Muslim ticket by what he referred to as a desperate party presidential aspirant whose action is selfish and insensitive political maneuvering.
