2023: Cross River Calabar South 1 State Constituency APC candidate felicitate paramount ruler
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State on Homeland security and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Calabar South I Constituency in Cross River State House of Assembly for the 2023 general elections, Hon. Effiong Ekarika aka “OBAMA” has congratulated the newly appointed Paramount Ruler of Calabar South Local Government Area HRM Nyong Effiom Okon, JP for his ascension to the throne.
Hon. Ekarika made the commendation in a chat with LENS Reporter after a visit to the palace of the Monarch at Ekeng Abia Lane in Henshaw Town, Calabar.
The Candidate who is contesting against the Peoples Democratic Party PDP candidate Mr. Anthony Nya aside from other party candidates has promised to change the dynamics in representation and to attract meaningful, tangible, and lucrative development to Calabar South 1 State Constituency in the State House of Assembly by sponsoring life transforming bills that would impact on the Constituency if elected into office in 2023.
Hon. Ekarika who was accorded a rousing welcome by youths in the area was applauded for empowering people and urged the people to shun politicians who engage in do-or-die tactics and vote buying to win elections. The people were asked to elect him as the man to beat in the elections given his people-oriented and grassroots deposition and the promise to make the marine and coastal suburb a business hub.
