2023 Presidential Election: Northern Coalition endorses Dogara as Tinubu’s running mate

As the search for a running mate for the APC presidential flagbearer in the 2023 general elections is still ongoing, a group under the name Coalition for Peace and Progress (CPP) has asked the leadership of the party to consider the immediate past speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, as running mate for Bola Ahmed Tinubu describing him as the best candidate for the party from the North East.

The group says, the office of the Vice President of Nigeria is sensitive and requires a cool-headed, loyal and trustworthy individual who will give the appropriate support and encouragement to the President.
