Bakassi indegenes visits ‘caterpillar movement’ campaign office of Sen. Onor

Indigenes of Bakassi Local Government Area in Cross River State paid a solidarity visit to Senator Sandy Onor campaign office along  Marian Road Extention in Calabar.

The delegates were led by the former Bakassi Council Chairman, Hon. Emmanuel Etene was received by the Director-General of the Caterpillar movement, the campaign organization for Senator Sandy Onor aspiration to contest for the governorship position in the 2023 general elections in the state.

The people were there to solicit assistance in an effort to restore the oil-rich resources of the area by seeking political solutions when senator Onor is elected governor.

In his welcome address, Mr. Joe Obi Bisong promised, the D.G of the caterpillar movement to convey their request to his principal who has the capacity to remedy the situation.

In his vote of thanks after discussion, a community leader and frontline aspirant for Bakassi State constituency in 2023 House of Assembly elections, Rev Paul Antigha who is also PDP chairman in Atai-Ema ward appreciated the efforts made to accommodate Bakassi people in the caterpillar movement campaign organization and promised to work towards the victory of Senator Sandy Onor in 2023 governorship elections.
