The Chioma Ajunwa Foundation is set to unveil its latest initiative—the Golden Dreams Campaign: Without Drug Abuse or Illicit Trafficking Project aimed at shaping a drug-free future for Nigerian youths.

This bold and inspiring campaign is scheduled to launch on Thursday, 26th June 2025, at 10 AM within the NIS Gymnastics Indoor Sports Hall, located at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Founded and led by Dr. Mrs. Chioma Ajunwa-Oparah, Nigeria’s first Olympic gold medalist and a retired Deputy Commissioner of Police—the foundation continues to champion youth empowerment and positive social transformation. Through the Golden Dreams Campaign, the foundation aims to promote excellence and encourage a drug-free lifestyle among Nigerian youths, particularly at a time when substance abuse remains a growing concern in the country.

The campaign is not just a call to action, it is a celebration of possibility and purpose, especially in line with global observances against drug abuse and illicit trafficking. By merging sports inspiration with social advocacy, Chioma Ajunwa reaffirms her dedication to using her platform and legacy to spark real change.

Attendees at the launch according to organisers should expect a powerful showcase of testimonies, educational segments, and strategic partnerships aimed at curbing the menace of drug abuse while uplifting young people toward healthier and more productive choices.

The general public, stakeholders in youth development, education, sports, and health, are the constituents expected to join the movement. 08062471515 or 08133795127 phone lines have been given as official numbers for prospective attendees.

The Golden Dreams Campaign isn’t just an event—it’s a revolution of values.
