Don reflect on events preceding second coming of Christ

The recent declaration of support for war against Israel by the Republic of Yemen to bolster Hamas provocation in the ongoing middles East conflict has prompted the Vice Chancellor of the First Private University in Cross River State Prof. Ani Nkang of Arthur Jarvis University, Akpabuyo to remind Christians of the timeline of events leading to the second coming of the Lord and Saviour of the Universe, Jesus Christ as predicted in the scripture.

Prof. Nkang made the remark Wednesday November 1 in a sermon he preached during the zonal prayer and fasting of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International-Nigeria, held at NAKS Hotel and Towers in Calabar, Cross River State.

Speaking on the theme: “Behold I come quickly,” he referenced Revelation 22 vs 12: “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me to repay each one according to his works” posited that Christ second coming would be like the speed of light according to 2nd Peter chapter 3 vs 8 “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day”.

Doubling down, he used the occasion to encourage all members to attend the South-South Regional Convention coming up on Thursday 9th to Saturday 11th November 2023 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State with the Theme: “BEHOLD I COME QUICKLY” Revelation 22 verse 12.

Rev Dr. Uma Ukpa, Arc Ifeanyi Odedo, Pastor Sonny Wogu (SAN), Pastor Sam Akpan, Mrs. Eunice Neme Agu and Dr. Matie Obazee are billed as speakers at the three days conference.

The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International-Nigeria is a Christian non-denominational group of men who love God, and share their personal experiences of a new and better life as a means of helping other people to discover and live a new life in Christ Jesus with the slogan “His Banner of them is Love.” The aim of the group founded by Demos Shakarian, an Armenian rich dairy farmer in the US is to bring businessmen and busy Executives to God.
