Easter Message: Cleric assures Christians of living above present economic low in Nigeria

The General Overseer of the Chosen Mount Zion Church, Pastor Daniel Akpan Jim has predicted that Christians who believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ would live above the present hardship in the country.

Pastor Jim disclosed this while fielding question from newsmen at the opening session in his Easter message at the kick-off of a 4 day crusade themed: “Rise Above Your Circumstances” referencing Matthew 2 8:18 “And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” He posited that with the power of resurrection in our lives, every believing Christian would rise above the present economic circumstances in Nigeria.

Doubling down, he averred that as it happened in the days of old according to 2nd kings 7:18-20 “And it came to pass as the Man of God had spoken to the King, saying, Two measures of bareley for a Shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria, And that God answered the man of God. He said all those who doubt the possibility of a turn-around in conditions of things in the country are doomed because they too do not believe in the power of Jesus Christ coming back to life after death.

He urged attendees who are yet to give their life to Christ to obtain Salvation through his crucifixion and death on the Cross to do so. The revival program started on March, 28th 2024 is winding down on Easter Sunday, March 31st 2024 at Ishie layout in Calabar, Cross River State.

The occasion featured song rendition by the Chosen Voices choir, Word impartation under the unction of the Holy Spirit with many invited ministers of the gospel in attendance.
