Enugu APC, PDP in war of words over alleged Embezzlement
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Enugu state chapter has appealed to the chairman of the state opposition All Progressive Congress to refrain from attacking the party but concentrate on his party.
Spokesperson of the PDP Governorship candidate, Nana Ogbodo gave the charge at a news conference in Enugu,
He warned the APC Chairman to devote his energy to growing and reconciling aggrieved members in his party than being on a wild goose chase, alleging that PDP is behind his party’s debacle.
The party also charged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC to investigate the alleged fraud made as a result of funds accrued to the party at the convention and party presidential rally.
Reacting, the APC Chairman Ugochukwu Agballa denied the embezzlement allegations, saying he has not received money from anyone.
He claimed that the protest held in Abuja against him was sponsored by the state-ruling PDP.
