Exit of a quintessential woman, Deaconess Christiana Inyang
Pastor O.E. Asuquo (JP) Deputy Field Superintendent of the Apostolic church of Nigeria, Akpabuyo Field has described the exit of late Deaconess (Mrs.) Christiana Inyang aged 63 as a great loss.
He made the comment in his sermon during her funeral & thanksgiving service on Thursday May, 30th 2024 conducted by TACN, Ikot Abasi Obori District, Ikot Efa Area, Calabar Field, held at A. B. Martins Field, Ikot Ishie Town, Calabar Municipal Council Area in Cross River State.
Referencing Ecclesiastes 3:2 “A time to be born, a time to die, a time to plant; and a time to pluck up that which is planted” with them “There is a time for everything in life,” he described the passing of late Deaconess (Mrs.) Christiana Inyang as the right time to go home as nothing happens to a true child of God without His knowledge. He urged the living to prepare to be called on to a higher glory at God’s appointed time.
The event was officiated by Pastor (Dr.) Eta E. Edet (JP), TACN, Akpabuyo Field Superintendent, Pastor (Dr.) E. B. Ekpo, Assistant Territorial Secretary and TACN, Akpabuyo Field Secretary. Pastor J. I. Enya, Executive Council Prophet and Ikot Efa Area Supervisor and Host Pastor M. E. Akpan moderated the event.
Her remains was interred at the deceased family compound at Obori Drive, Ikot Abasi Obori via Calabar-junction in Calabar, Cross River State.
She is survived by Pastor F. E. Nathaniel, Assistant Field Secretary, TACN, among other siblings
