Family Worship Center ordains ministers, assigned to mission fields

The plot 648 Idris Gidado Street, Wuye 900108, Abuja International Headquarters of Family Worship Center was a beehive of activities Sunday, May 22, 2022, when Pastor Sarah Omakwu, Senior Pastor and President of Family Ministries International ordained 40 ministers to go into the mission field in the newly established branches and already existing churches in fulfillment of the great commission.

Pastor Omakwu who described the appointees as soldiers of the cross in her anointing and dedication service urged them to endeavor to make real the mandate by focusing on the great commandment, referencing Mathew 22:35-40.

She cautioned them to live above self and seek the lost sheep according to Mathew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and spoke unto them saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo I am with you always even unto the end of the world Amen”.

Sunday’s event which was beamed live and monitored at FMC, Gomays Hotel Plaza, Atekong Drive in Calabar by the Resident Pastor Peter Oko Ekaji is a confirmation of the vision to plant churches across Nigeria in all the nooks and crannies as witnessed in Dutse, Goza, Abakiliki, Ile-Ife, Awka, Gwakalada 2, Gboko, Birinin Kebbi, Oshogbo, and other locations.

The Family Worship Center was founded by Pastor Ina Omakwu on the 11th of April, 1993 at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers in Abuja to care for addicted and afflicted persons by bringing them to the love of Christ and restoring them to their God-ordained destinies.
