Gunmen abducts Apostolic Church Pastor, others in Creek town, Cross River state

Unknown gunmen on Thursday 18 August kidnapped Pastor E.E Edet (JP) Field Superintendent of The Apostolic Church Nigeria in Creek Town who doubles as Secretary of TACN Cross River State Territory. He along with four others were on a mission to Creek town field, riverine assemblies of the church in Cross River state.

In a chat with LENS Reporter, a member of the family who spoke on condition of anonymity said though no communication has been established yet with his abductors, fillers indicate that the sum of N10 million is being demanded as ransom to facilitate his release.

Efforts by LENS to get information about the incident from TACN at the 101 Marian Road office of the church in Calabar were naught at the time of filling this report.
