MTV Music & Tv Awards: Jennifer Lopez, Jack Black Honoured
Jennifer Lopez and Jack Black were honored at the MTV Music and TV Awards in Santa Monica, California last night.
Lopez used her acceptance speech for the Generation award to thank both her friends and her critics.
She also picked up the award for best song, for ‘On My Way’ from the film “Marry Me,’ in which she starred as a pop superstar whose love life is scrutinized by millions.
Jack Black was awarded the Comedic Genius award.
As well as traditional awards categories, MTV also hands out awards in more lighthearted categories. One of those is ‘best kiss,’ which was won this year by Sean ‘Poopies’ McInerney for a scene in the movie ‘Jackass Forever’ where he kissed a snake. The “Jackass” movie franchise is known for its stars performing dangerous and odd stunts.
Other winners of the night included young adult drama “Euphoria” which took the award for best show and Marvel’s ‘Loki’ which won the best team award.
