UCTH Admin. Director loses mother

Death has been announced of madam Affiong Bassey Obong, a retired school teacher who died on 31st December 2021 at the age of 82 after a brief illness.

The deceased who was born in 1939 is the mother of Barrister Ededet Eyoma, the Director of Administration at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.

A press statement released by the family indicates that the mourning house will open on Monday, April 4 2022 followed by visitations of groups and individuals.

Service of songs, funeral, and memorial service would be held at the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, (PCN) Ishie Town Parish, Calabar.

Lying in state and internment would take place at the deceased residence at the memorial garden in Offiong Offiong street, Ishie Town Calabar, Cross River State.
