University of Calabar announces matriculation on Friday

The University of Calabar is to hold its 44th matriculation ceremony on Friday 2nd December 2022.

The institution’s management announced this in a memo referenced UC/REG/CIR/64 and signed by the Registrar, Mr. Gabriel. O. Egbe mandating Faculty Officers to ensure matriculating students commence the procession at 8:30 am while the Vice Chancellor’s procession is scheduled to commence at 9:30 am while the ceremony proper kicks off at 10:00 am

The venue of the event is at Abraham Ordia stadium in the University campus and management has announced a lecture-free day for the matriculating students.

According to the memo, Provosts, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Institutes, and Heads of Departments and units are to ensure strict compliance with the directive as December 2, 2022 has been declared lecture free-Day for all freshmen to enable them to participate fully in the ceremony.
