The chairman of Essien Udim, Hon Anthony Luke, popularly known as (Aluko), appreciated Senator Akpan for finding time despite his tight schedule to attend the funeral service as a mark of honour for Chief Afangide.

And referencing Psalms 25:6 – 7, Rev. Fr. Ndifreke Nathan maintained that despite the sorrow and pains, nothing should separate believers from the love of God. He said that no one can question God who gives life.
