2023 General Elections:Tinubu in closed door meeting with Obasanjo

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, meet with former Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Wednesday..

It was gathered that the chopper of the former Governor of Lagos State landed at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Oke Mosan, Abeokuta around 1:10 pm.

The APC flagbearer Tinubu went straight into a closed doors meeting with the former president Olusegun Obasanjo.

The presidential candidate is meeting with Obasanjo as part of his consultation ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

He was accompanied by the House of Representatives Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, former APC interim chairman, Chief Bisi Akande, and former Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.

Others were the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, and two of his predecessors, Chief Olusegun Osoba and Otunba Gbenga Daniel, who were also in attendance.

It was a carnival-like atmosphere at the Obasanjo’s residence as thousands of APC members stormed the premises singing, dancing, and drumming

Tinubu after the meeting with Obasanjo is expected to address the APC members at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, and Abeokuta.
